Starring Venkatesh and Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles, it is produced by Ramu and Sri Naveen under their respective banners Garuda and Sri Sai Ganesh Productions. It has music composed by Anoop Rubens. The film released worldwide on March 26, 2013 to positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film begins with an out-of-focus scene of a full moon and the camera zooms in on a young girl dancing in a garden to the tunes of an exotic background score. The scene shifts to present time, where we see Vimala (Ramya) and her cousin Ravi (Venkatesh) standing near their home, watching the beautiful full moon setting. The next morning, Vimala wakes up to an unpleasant sight of pigs eating the flowers in her garden. She tries to chase them away, but fails. Later, it is reported that a man from a nearby village has been arrested for the pig menace. Vimala and Ravi go to a local shop and inform the shopkeeper about the pigs spoiling their garden flowers. He asks them who will pay for the damages and then asks if they could serve as bond for his release, if he pays 100 rupees per day as compensation for damage caused by his livestock. Vimala refuses and leaves the shop in frustration as she doesn't have money to pay for damages done by those pigs at her garden . That night, she goes to a temple and prays for help. The next morning, as the pigs spoil the flowers again, Vimala decides to confess about her plight to Ravi. Ravi advises her not to do so as it will affect their relationship and further asks her to forget the incident and move on with life. Later, she goes back home and narrates her story to her mother and it is then that we hear about Lord Shiva's relation with Kaali-Ma Bhramari Devi. Overwhelmed by grief, Vimala insists on going one more time inside the temple in search of Lord Shiva's statue . And then Vimala finds a Shiva statue that resembles no other Shiva, and it is revealed that this Shiva statue is the one standing before the temple. In a dramatic climax, Lord Shiva comes out of the statue, and reveals his true divine form to Vimala. As Lord Shiva blesses Ravi and Vimala for being so kind to him all these years, Lord Shiva's pet Parvathi guides Vimala's father to the temple where Vimala had seen Lord Shiva. This leads to an extraordinary sequence of events as an obscure priest is shown, who has been worshiping Kaali-Ma Bhramari Devi for years now .
